Band sync app

Whether you're rehearsing in the room or playing a concert, the whole band follows the same song at the same time, while each musician keeps their own screen and their own display.

The whole band on the same song

In Maestro Livebook, one musician runs the session: when they change song, the other musicians' devices follow automatically, in real time. This is a synchronized song change, not simple screen sharing: each device loads its own copy of the song and displays it according to its own settings.

One musician starts the session

From their own song database, one band member runs the current session: their song change is what triggers everyone else's.

The others join easily

Each musician opens a link or scans a QR code, enters their PIN, and their device immediately starts following the current song.

Everyone keeps their own display

Livebook view (text and chords) or PDF score, transposition: these settings stay individual on each device, even when the song is set by the session.

A shared screen if needed

TV mode can also broadcast lyrics to a shared external screen, for the audience or for the musicians themselves.

How it works

1. StartOne musician starts the session from their song database.
2. JoinThe others scan the QR code or open the link with their PIN.
3. FollowWith every song change, all screens follow, each with its own display.

Exchanging songs between musicians

So that the whole band has the same repertoire, Maestro Livebook lets you export a song or a complete database into a file ready to send. You choose how to send it to another musician — by email, messaging app, USB key: the application prepares the file, but doesn't send it itself.

Export a song

Lyrics, chords, MusicXML and the associated PDF bundled into a single file to send.

Export a complete database

Your entire repertoire, with associated PDFs and scores, in a single file to share.

Import a received song

Another musician receives the file by whatever means they choose, then imports it directly into their own database.

Duplicates detected automatically

Songs already present (same title and same artist) are identified and skipped, without overwriting your existing database.

Also play on a local network

A dedicated feature also lets you run a session across multiple devices on a simple local network, without an internet connection. This feature is configurable and is not enabled by default for all accounts.

What Maestro Livebook doesn't do

No simultaneous co-editing. Two musicians cannot edit the same song or the same database at the same time from their own devices.

No automatic file sending. Export prepares a file ready to send; transport (email, messaging, USB key...) remains your responsibility.

No administrative band management. The application synchronizes the current song between devices, not schedules or band organization.
