From a Master station, a conductor or musical director controls the song displayed by their musicians, with identified stands and real-time connection tracking.
The conductor runs the session from a single Master station: they change the displayed song, and all stands follow. Each stand remains individually identified, with its own connection status.
From their tablet or PC, the conductor changes the song displayed across all connected stands.
Name each stand (e.g. "Violin 1", "Keys") to instantly know who's who in the control panel.
Add a musician's email and send them their invitation: a link and PIN, or a QR code to scan to join their stand.
A real-time indicator shows who's connected and who's offline, as well as the device detected for each stand.
Release a stand in one move to hand it to another musician, without reconfiguring everything.
Livebook view (text and chords) or PDF score, transposition: these settings stay individual on each stand, even when the song is controlled from the Master station.
To prepare your musicians' devices, Maestro Livebook lets you export and import songs or complete databases. You choose how to transmit the file to another device — there is no automatically shared library, and no automatic file sending.
A dedicated feature also lets you run a session across multiple stands on a simple local network, without an internet connection. This feature is configurable and is not enabled by default for all accounts.
No different score per stand. All stands follow the same song: the stand's name identifies the station, it doesn't trigger the automatic sending of a different instrumental part.
No administrative orchestra management. No staffing management, rehearsal scheduling, or accounting — only control over what's displayed.
No simultaneous co-editing or automatic file sending. Two stations cannot edit the same database at the same time, and export prepares a file to send, without sending it itself.
No synchronized transposition or MIDI between stands. These settings stay individual on each device.
